Recruit-A-Friend Problem

Hey. So recently I sent a RAF request to a friend. He made his trial account, and we played. He enjoyed playing, and recently went out and purchased WoW + the 2 expansions. He accidently put his CD KEY into a new account on the same battle.net account..meaning he had a WoW1 and WoW2. WoW1 being the "trial with RAF to me", and wow2 being his real account with no link to me.

After we talked, he called blizzard support, and the guy on the line consolidated the accounts for him, so the RAF bonus would work (thank you blizz). Now..when I look on my RAF status, it shows him as linked, with a green icon, meaning hes upgraded to a full version. However, in-game we have neither summoning abilities nor triple xp. I am leveling a new toon with him, we are both the same level. I have done RAF before, never had this problem.

Is this just a time-wait thing, where we are going to wake up tomorrow and those options will be there?
