First off, Umegabyte, we appreciate you trying to bring this to our attention. Unfortunately blue text or not, this topic does belong in our suggestion forums. The suggestion forums are there for anyone who wishes to bring up ideas such as the one you have posted. There you will have the opportunity to discuss this topic in detail with many other players that feel the same way you do. While a dev response is not always guaranteed, keep in mind that all are read.
If you want us to treat this as Customer Service issue than I can let you know that we are aware of this and working on a more permanent solution. Unfortunately, implementing a bot or placing a GM in game is not the way to fix it. Not only would placing a GM in each realm require more staff, it is a waste of valuable resources and also brings down the amount of players each GM can assist. The end result of this idea would be higher queue times. I can already see this easily turning into “Why can’t Gm’s spend more time helping players instead of wasting time waiting for spam bots?". I’m sure no player want that.
In the past we have made efforts to reduce spam, implementing restrictions such as the ones a player will encounter with a trial account. We have also implemented the ability for players to “report spam” when needed. The fact of the matter is that spammers will eventually catch on to restrictions and find creative ways of going around them. One way would be using legit accounts, accounts that have been compromised.
Q u o t e:
Why with all the Millions in resources can you not stop Spammers ?
As I mentioned earlier, we are working on a permanent solution and one that will hopefully reduce the amount of spam without affecting legitimate players.
Q u o t e:
Blizz does not want to get rid of the Gold spam as they are half of thier player base...
I am not entirely sure how this would be true.
More gold spammers = more players falling for scams = more in game petitions created = more staff needed to address tickets created.
Q u o t e:
I am starting to see some truth in that
