Something interesting has come up ingame recently and i want to clarify this. i had posted a video months ago (A pvp video) with my other guildies talking in vent. I had "Crashed" a wedding ingame on Nesingwary - PVE and i recently found the groom in which i killed in the video, and showed him the video.

He comes back at me with "If you dont remove this video from youtube within 36 hours, i will sue you. My wife is a lawyer and because you did not have my concent to post this video im going to flag it to youtube, have it removed. Also get your IP and information from youtube. and We will be taking you to court.

Now i know that i cant see this happening. But id like some clarification on this can you actually do that???

THe only thing that potrays this person in the video is his Ingame character,Guild, and Ingame name. Nothing else. No Personal Information, No Voice Nothing.

Q u o t e:
How is he going to sue you over something that he doesn't own? Blizzard owns all rights to everything in the game, including the pixels that were his character in your video.

Though I am not a lawyer, Trixze, I believe Flatspriest is correct in that what is in the video is actually the property of Blizzard Entertainment.

His wife is welcome to contact our legal team though, they should be able to go over the particulars.
