We are aware that some players are experiencing an error while attempting to post on the forums. In addition we have received several reports of players that have been unable to log into their World of Warcraft/Battle.net account.

These issues are currently under investigation. We will provide what updates and information we can as soon as it is available.

As a reminder, please keep your posts civil and in accordance with the forum Code of Conduct (this means no: profanity, masked or direct; abuse of the Caps Lock key; trolling or spamming). We are happy to keep the thread open for discussion, but inappropriate posts will be deleted.

Well it seems that the three problems I was having have been resolved.

1. Error: No Active World of Warcraft account?
2. "You are not allowed to post on this station"
3. Couldn't log in to battle.net to change my password, as it said too many log in attempts

They appeared to be related and I had to decide on one title that would at least get the idea across. :)

Thank you for the update, are you able to say why it's doing that? :3

Unfortunately I have no idea what the issue was. I only received an update that said the issue had been resolved.

My friend is still having the same problem. Cant even go to battle.net or worldofwarcraft.com and cant log into the game.

Is it the same issue, Demonizer? When they attempt to log in does it tell them that they have no active World of Warcraft accounts attached?

Logging into the game was not part of the issue that players were experiencing. If your friend is unable to log into Battle.net and the game the issue is likely not related to this one.

It could be an issue with their local provider, their firewall or any number of issues.

Do they have an authenticator attached to the account and are receiving an invalid password message? In such a case I may be able to help and I'd recommend creating a new thread. Otherwise, it may be a technical issue and I'd recommend looking in the Technical Support forum for troubleshooting advice.

He was just in ICC and logged off to get on another toon and on the toon screen he dc'd and has not been able to get back on.

That isn't much information to go on.

Does that mean he is getting an error, if so what is the error? Is it hanging at a certain point in the process when he attempts to log in? Is he just having trouble with one character or all of them? Can he log into other realms but not the main one he plays on? Can he log into the client but is stuck on the Character Selection screen? The Realm Selection screen?

Simply saying someone can't log in is extremely vague. Jumping into an entirely unrelated thread tends to muddy the waters as it were.

If your friend is unable to log into one character, have him submit a petition on another one using the stuck category. A Game Master may be able to move him.

If he is unable to log into any character or indeed the client, a bit more information is necessary to figure out where the issue is. If he is getting a log in error do the following: Post a new thread in this forum, detailing the error and what he is experiencing. If it is something that those of us who moderate this forum can provide some assistance on we'll give you what advice we can.

If he is not getting a specific error though, visit the Technical Support forum for troubleshooting advice.
