Should i recieve an email.....

I submitted a ticket in game asking for a deleted lvl 80 toon to pkease be restored. I sent the request about 13 hours ago but Im at work and wont be home for awhile still. I was wondering...... should I receive an email in my Gmail account when my issue has been tended too? Since im not at home cant log on to see and Im curious as to the status.
