Hey, so heres the deal. I play Wow, and I play SC2.. now I mistakenly placed my SC2 on the same Battle.net account as my Wow account so now my "Wow RID" friends keep bugging me while I am playing SC2 for raids and what not. I don't mind them or anything, but when i am playing SC2 I don't want too play Wow. At all. I also like too keep my Friends list and (life for the most part) ordered and neat.

Point is, I want too know if I am able too get my wow account OFF my Battle.net account and place it on a new Battle.net account (or vis versa) so i can have my "Wow RID" friends and "SC2 RID" friends. I don't want too ignore anyone, or remove.. so if its kept apart everyone wins (mostly me).

Thank you in advance! Now I have to go, house is on. XD

That seems to imply they can be deleted.

We do not generally delete accounts, in most cases we will simply remove the billing information from the account to shut it down. The account itself is still recoverable though.

In extreme cases, and we do caution strongly against this, we may be able to completely remove the account from our systems. If that is done though the account is not recoverable by any means. This can not be accomplished by a simple phone call. There are certain procedures that must be followed before it will be considered. You'll want to contact our Billing and Account Services for more information.

Is this a recent-ish change? I apologize if I'm prodding a bit, but I'm a little curious about the flat out "no, we do not delete accounts ever never ever" response I got from a rep a while back.

It came about with Real ID as the reaction regarding that announced system was rather polarized and there were a number of people who absolutely required that their information be removed from our systems. Though our systems are secure and that information was never intended to be public, unless you actively choose to use the Real ID system, unfortunately, there were those who would not be dissuaded.

It isn't something that we do lightly as it isn't a mere flick of a button, but it is possible in extreme situations.

Is the process really one that goes past the point of no return, though?

Yes. If the goal was to remove all information from our systems that effectively removes all data about the account. A backup or other recovery procedure would negate the process which is why there isn't one.
