Best LEGAL way to obtain a 2-seat flyer

Howdy,

I own two accounts (same login name and registered to the same email). One is for me, the other is for my girlfriend. I am a fast leveler and she's much more casual. As a result, I often end up playing both toons alt-tabbed. I am pretty good at playing both in combat, but travel is annoying. I have to mount both characters, fly, autofollow, then inevitably lose follow and have to go on a rescue mission.

This isn't a big deal except that if I quest solo, then when she wants to play--and quest with me--we're in different quest areas. I don't have the time to level each on their own. So I ask:

How can I get a 2 seat flying rocket?

I know it's Recruit-a-friend reward. And I'm fine with purchasing an additional account or whatnot. But I am confused by the description of how to go about getting the rocket.

Will I need to purchase another retail copy of WoW (3 copies altogether) to do the RAF? Or can I simply purchase a 3rd subscription for the 2 months?

I want to do this legally and within the rules set forth by Blizzard. I just don't know what the optimal way to go about it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Have a good one.

Here's how I did it:

1. Refer yourself. Create an RAF-linked trial account.
2. Upgrade that trial account to a full (aka Vanilla) WoW account.
3. Attach prepaid game time worth 60 days or more.

That's all you have to do.

As I wanted to have a second account, I also upgraded it to BC and Wrath, but that step is not required to earn the RAF mount.

This is a legitimate way to gain the two-seater X-53 Touring Rocket, Prymalis.

If doing thing legitimately and playing within the guidelines we set forth is your concern, though, I would like to make you aware that, in accordance with our Terms of Use; only two people are EVER allowed to access the account (from the moment the account is created to the end of time). The first is the person who set up the account in their own name (you aren't allowed to set up an account in any name other than your own legal name). The second is one (1) of the children or trustees (under age 18) of the first person. Not siblings, not parents, not spouses, not friends, not strangers.
