Disappointed in Blizzard Customer Service

I was given a blunt warning for an inappropriate guild name. I tried to explain that I inherited the guild from someone else, and when I tried to change the name, it was only possible by paying a fee (in real dollars). I asked for clarification in terms of what action on my part was against the Blizzard policy, but they keep sending me replies like this one:

"We have conducted an additional review of the action taken against the World of Warcraft account <....> and have arrived at the same conclusion. We have determined that an in-game name is in violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html). As such, the action will not be removed or changed."

I'm disappointed with Blizzard's refusal to answer my questions. Perhaps they are instructed to treat customer this way, or perhaps they simply don't know how to answer them?

Q u o t e:

We have never offered a “Paid Guild Name Change” feature, Drh. And I am curious to know when it was that you alerted us to the fact that the guild name we changed recently was inappropriate? I have reviewed email correspondence and petition history and do not see anything coming from you specifically.

Q u o t e:
The issue could have been resolved by simply communicating to me, and by finding out about the facts, before slapping an "official warning" to my account.

Whether or not you created the name of the guild or not isn’t the issue. The fact that you, as the guild master, assumed responsibility of a guild that had an inappropriate name. Another player reported the name of the guild as offensive. Upon review we found the name to be in violation since it referenced a religious figure in a negative way.

You have emailed our Account Administration department multiple times and each time they have come to the same conclusion: the warning will not be removed from the account.

You may wish to contact them once more and include “Attn: Supervisor” in the subject line. This matter will be addressed by a supervisor and a final decision will be made.

Harlsoco has left the office, but I do believe this conversation has lost its positive progression at this point.

Drh, you have been provided the necessary information to contest the situation. I'm afraid we are unable to assist beyond that.
