Authenticator Question

Heya, I have had mine since they were first available and I am now curious...whats the battery life on these things? That being said is it feasible to change a dead one or at that point do I need to just buy a new one? I would prefer to stay away from the app versions because I am far far more likely to damage/lose my phone than I am to do either to my authenticator. Thanks.

Your mileage may vary :) - but those are most commonly estimated to last around 7 years.

And no, you need a new one, it's a security feature that the case cannot be opened. To do so would destroy the mechanism.
