what all do you want to know about my account? i have called billing to the point they won't even take questions on it anymore and consider the account unable to be unbanned. i was on military orders at the time. i have no idea what happened and never received any information. so to sum this up:

my account got banned in 2007.
i was deployed and had military orders to prove it.
i also filled out all the compromised account junk when i arrived home and got the banned message upon logging in.
billing/account admin insist the account cannot be unbanned.

From what I can see your account was banned back in April 1st, 2007. The account was banned for exploitation, without providing specific details on what kind. Your account was reviewed multiple times by different representatives, from April until October 2007 including an Account Administration Supervisor. All with the same evidence.

Unfortunately, the email address and information was changed which is why you may not have received details and information. Now being 3 years later, the account can be considered permanently closed. You are welcome to still dispute this by email to wowaccountadmin@ blizzard.com, although they may just explain what I have explained above. I apologize If this is not the answer you are looking for, but it’s all the information that I could gather and provide via forums.

Q u o t e:
thanks. heard it all before. obviously someone got my account and changed all the info and did who knows what. i understand that. for me to take punishment of someone elses actions is wrong on blizzard's part. i didn't get any compensation for what i lost, not to mention the money invested in my account. BC wasn't out long then and i had $60 in just the account plus all the time i had put into it prior.

Just to clarify what was said here:
Q u o t e:
Unfortunately, the email address and information was changed which is why you may not have received details and information.
    â–ºAccount was banned: 4/1/2007 1:30:09 AM

â–ºAccount reported compromised, same day by email: 4/1/2007 9:50:41 AM

â–ºFinal response from a supervisor Sent: 4/4/2007 11:00:36 PM (evidence of communication between emails to account holder)

â–ºAccount disputed by email (several attempts through October 2007)

â–ºThe information on the account was changed on 7/21/2009, 2 years later after the incident.
I hope this clarifies what occurred, during that time.

Q u o t e:
the account was banned in 07 but info was changed in 2009? how is that possible?

The account information on an account can always be updated by the registered user of the account. This includes updating the registered e-mail address as well as updating the billing/contact information. The purpose behind that would be to be able to contact our staff regarding that specific account and receive possible updates on its status.

Though in this case it looks like a password change was all that was requested though the account management page.

To cover what you stated in your previous post, Anone. Though we understand that you may have an alibi, as it were, during this time frame but please understand that the registered user is responsible for all activity on the account, be it sanctioned by you or not.

In the case of a possible compromise we always will do what we can to verify that a compromise took place. If we can do that we are usually able to overturn the penalties that were applied to the account and attempt to repair the damage that was caused.

Unfortunately, Anone, a compromise usually entails malicious intent, the stripping of characters, the removal of gold, the transferring of characters with the intent of unloading the "loot" there.

None of this occurred on the account.

I am sorry, Anone, we understand this can be a frustrating matter, we deal every day with those who actively work to exploit our game, sometimes using services in order to get ahead in the game and sometimes trying to use third party programs or other types of exploits.

We by no means wish to say that you may be misrepresenting what actually occurred or imply that you were complacent with activities that took place on the account. The fact remains though, this has been reviewed no fewer than 5 times on multiple levels and they have been unable to verify that the account was actually compromised.

Our goal is always to allow the registered user to access and play their account, we by no means enjoy suspending or even closing accounts. As I said before you are welcome to continue your dialog with our Account Administration department, though at this point it is unlikely that new evidence will come to light that will allow the closure to be overturned.

also, this is a dead horse that was drug out of me by curiousity from Zenlyth. so everyone with their little "smart" comments can just stop posting. seriously.

It was more to understand the comments that you made and to help you, if possible. Because you seem to sarcastically refer to great customer service while making claims that you were wronged and we some how acted inappropriately I wanted to provide what clarification that I could.

Again, I wish you well, Anone.
