Q u o t e:
How could these scammers have gotten that email address...

It's no more difficult to do that than it is to write a false return address on an envelope.

The "From" address of an email is absolutely meaningless as a means of identity verification.

After you have done so, It’s best to send these types of emails right over to hacks@blizzard.com, remember to copy and paste the entire header into the message body, so we can identify the source. I did edit the web address on your post, please try not to add the links or addresses included in the emails when posting. Thank you!

I'm not talking about how the scammers got my email address I'm talking about how they were able to get and use the email address Noreply@Battle.net !!
The address you see in From: Noreply@Battle.net is masked. The email header itself, will contain where it actually came from. Please read the article we linked and it will explain how they do this.

/sigh... looks like regardless of what we are trying to explain to you, it is not going to change your said opinion on thinking this is in fact from said address.

Unfortunately, you are incorrect and your language is really unacceptable, if you continue to post in violation of the code of conduct, well, you will be missed.

We answered you question and explained as best we could to help you understand this was not sent by us at all.

Consider this a warning, thank you.
