Character transfer and BOA items

I have a two part question. I have two WOW accounts and I would like to transfer one of my characters from one account to the other. First, is this possible? I own both accounts and have so for years, but they are not merged (I've seen several people mention this).

Second. If it is possible, can I put some BOA items on the character when I transfer it over and have the toons on the new account use them?

Absolutely, but keep in mind that if you wish to set up Parental Controls for your son they will also affect you if you are both on the same Battle.net account. Our Billing and Account Services department may be able to simply change the name on your son's Battle.net account, since it is just the first name.
