Autherticator code

Hello guys i am trying to help my friend get his account back. he usually comes over to my house and plays because his temper tantrums caused him to do something stupid to his computer lol. but now when he tried to log in it asks for authenticator code?? i dont hav ethe slighest clue of what its is but im guessing its some type of security type thing. he said that it wasnt always o there and hes been hacked?

any advice would be greatyly appreciated!

p.s he already tried to get help but all he got told was he can disable it under account management but hes unabale to log onto battle.net to do it
