Blizzcon Machinima Contest Age Question

My son is 16 years old in the state of Georgia, USA. When he is sending in his entry to the email, what is required of me as a parent in terms of any legal documents or such?

All we currently know to send in the video itself, 3 minutes and 100 mb limit. What else is there?

Any helpful links is greatly appreciated.

Can I send something as simple as:

I "Name" hereby state that my son, "name" has my premission as a legal guardian to enter the Blizzcon 2010 Machinima Contest, with his entry video "Name of video", which is exactly "XX.X" MB and has a runtime of "x:xx" at a size of "XXX by XXX".

"Signature"

"Date"

Will scanning this and sending it in with the email containing the video work?

I tried asking this in general and the blizzcon section and got no response. I would rather not see 3 weeks of my son's hard work go to waste because his entry was disqualified. Please help.

Such a statement should be sufficient, Duruen. Per the Movie Contest 2010 rules:

Q u o t e:
If you are under the legal age of majority in your country of residence, but are (i) over the age of 13 years of age and a resident of the United States of America, or a member country of the European Union other than Spain, or the United Kingdom; (ii) who is least 14 years of age and a resident of Spain, the United Kingdom, or Russia; or (iii) who is at least 15 years of age and is a resident of the Republic of Korea; and one of your parents or legal guardians must submit a signed, written statement that they have read, understood and agree to these Contest rules with your entry, and that such agreement constitutes acceptance of these Contest rules on behalf of you and themselves.
