Recruit a friend question

So my friend (character name: BÃlvy on the server: undermine) was recruited by me in january. He paid for his first month after of course he had his first free. All was fine and dandy until he quit for personal reasons. (btw i did get my month free as a "first month reward) But recently he joined back up and just paid for his second month. I never received my mount so i emailed bliz, which of course takes days to get a reply (no offense). Of course i grew impatient, so i called bliz as well and they said you may only receive the rewards while the accounts are linked. OK i was disappointed (in hopes for the XT touring rocket thing), but then i received an email reply the 21st saying that i would receive my reward the 24th (hopes risen). Im not so sure if it hasnt recognized it yet or the email reply-er was just wrong. Would appritiate blue text comments...just wanna know whats going on for real..thanks!.

You would receive the Rocket mount, Pwnor. Even if you had recruited your friend prior to the new gift being available, all recruits after a certain date are to be provided the Rocket mount instead. The Zhevra is no longer available.

Sorry, by recruits I meant the act of recruiting, not new recruits. I type a little too conversationally at times. ;)
