Too late to recruita friend link?

I reactivated this account today and bought my friend WoW to get him started. However, I forgot about the recruit a friend process and he already made the account. Is it all possible to link the two accounts? I feel horrible that I forgot about it and would love to get the link if at all possible.

I'm willing to call Blizz if I'm given the go by a blue post. I'll do it with my friend here even and they can talk to both of us if needed.

Or am I just fail for forgetting? :(

Understandably, Jeirol, the Recruit a Friend process can be a bit confusing, especially if you and your friend didn't use it when they set up their account. Hopefully our Billing Reps will be able to assist in getting that straightened out so you can receive the benefits.

I'd recommend checking out the following FAQ's if you haven't already, that way you can get the most out of your Recruit a Friend time. :)
