Grunty the Murloc Marine

A few weeks ago I noticed that Grunty the Murloc Marine (The companion pet people received from Blizzcon 2009 or the Internet stream of Blizzcon 2009, I did the stream myself) had disappeared from my spell-books on every character I have, at least all of them on Garithos. I still have the Feat of Strength for it on every character, on Garithos. Can I have my Murloc Marine back please? I have already put in a ticket, got a response a few days ago that I had sold it, which is utter bull because you can't sell a spell, and the egg disappeared on its use.

Actually, Ranko, the Game Master never said that you vendored the item. What they sent you was an response on restorations in general. You seemed to have focused on one part that wasn't relevant to your situation.

The paragraph just under that paragraph says... You will find the item already in your character's inventory or in the mailbox as an attachment.

The Heavy Murloc Egg still resides in your mailbox. Now this only addresses one character and does not give the pet to all of your characters. It looks like you recently had an issue the our Billing department assisted with, it looks like that was the cause of the pet disappearing from the account in the first place.

This is something that our Billing and Account Services will likely need to resolve for the entire account as they will need to add the pet license manually as far as I am aware. I'll see what I can find out and provide an update as soon as I can.

So, it appears that there was a bit of an issue with the previous Battle.net account. It is important to note that this pet is attached to the entire Battle.net account. When the World of Warcraft account was moved that removed it from the previous Battle.net account, which caused the issue.

This matter is being looked into now, if I get an update I will pass it along, otherwise you may just receive an e-mail.
