I used the recruit a friend service to recruit a family member back on August 22 2010 and the accounts have been linked. The recruited account has been upgraded to vanilla wow and also has a 1 month recurring subscription but i have yet to receive any rewards. I would have thought that i'd get the free month by now at least. I'm getting all the bonus exp and can use the summon, so whats the deal?

Only with the initial upgrade to a full account. The expansions will not give free time.

If your family member got recruited on August 22nd they would have had a ten day free trial, giving them free game play until Sept 1st. At that point if they were to upgrade the account to vanilla WoW they would get an additional 30 days "free" gameplay, pushing them up to Oct 1st before they will have applied any game time onto their account. The first billing cycle will be charged at that time, and wukk start going toward your account earnings (such as the free month and the mount).

Worry not, Nekrøtic, everything is as it should be. As long as you are able to summon one another than you are on your way to getting those previously mentioned rewards. ;0)
