Level buddy RaF link?

My friend and i really enjoy playing WOW together, and we like to level our characters together. I had an idea that he could "recruit" me to link our accounts, then I could upgrade that account to full version and transfer my characters over so we could level together faster.

Does this violate the ToS? Can i just get my current account linked to his? I honestly wouldn't have paid for WOW if i hadn't started playing with him, so i guess you could say he DID recruit me.

Can someone help?

The Recruit-A-Friend link is per account, Linnabelle, not per character. So even if you were to refer a new account to get the benefit, once you transferred that character to your other account, that character would no longer receive those perks.

Unfortunately, the Recruit-A-Friend feature is only able to be used to recruit a newly created account. Currently established accounts are not eligible to be recruited. However, if you think this is a service we should offer, or you have other thoughts or feedback on the feature, then I might advise posting your thoughts in our Suggestion forums. It is the premiere place to have your voice heard by our developers and policy makers, and we always encourage players to take advantage of that outlet whenever possible. =)
