Living overseas, question about digital DLing

I am living overseas (South Korea) and I wish to digitally download Starcraft 2. I have chosen to play in Korea when the option prompts to choose your region, however I am hesitant to continue with my purchase because I don't know if I will receive the Korean Hangul version in my digital download. The transaction menu has not asked what language I would like to receive the game in. I wish to receive an English version of the game. Can a Blue or any else please tell me if I will receive the English version of SC2 if I choose to download right now?

Looking forward to a reply in return. Thanks.

Purchasing a copy of the game for the region of Korea should result in a Korean-language game - I do not believe we currently offer an English version of the game that would allow you access to the Korean servers.

If you are a native English speaker, but you are concerned about latency, I might suggest purchasing the South East Asia version of the game that provides support to Australia and New Zealand. Otherwise, purchasing the North American version should be your best bet.

There is a point I am unsure of, however, and that is whether or not it is possible to play another region's game specifically from Korea. There are some special rules regarding that. Unfortunately, there is no one here for me to ask this evening to clarify this. I can check back into this thread tomorrow once I have an opportunity to speak with those who are more in the know.

I hope that helps. =)

Castleheart, I've spoken with one of our more knowledgeable experts on this subject, and here's the best advice we can provide.

-The South East Asian version of the game will likely provide you the best latency for your situation.
-Any other region should be purchasable and usable from Korea - only the Korean version appears to be on their National ID system.
-The Korean version of the game does not support the English language at this time.

I hope that provides you the information necessary to make your purchase. =)
