Credit Card Invalid?

My problem all started with SCII. My friend (technically my nephew, however he's more a friend because he's only one year younger then me) came over and liked the game. I decided to buy it for him like I pay for his monthly subscription to WoW, so today, I typed in the info and whatnot and it told me the information for my Credit Card was incorrect.

I thought of this oddly, however I tried multiple things including canceling my subscription to WoW, I thought it to be an account problem at the time. However, when I tried to resubscribe to WoW, it told me the same, I've looked over and over and over, retyping, EVERYTHING to get this to work.

But nothing is looking forward, the very same friend told me, "Well maybe they're used to the old info, which was incorrect, and Blizzard thinks what you're typing is the fraud info." I have to admit, back then, when I made our accounts, I typed in my zip code and a few other odd-ball things incorrectly, however the Credit Card it's self was correct.

I'm not sure if what he says is true, however if I don't find a solution soon, my subscription to WoW shall be ended as well!

Q u o t e:
I didn't accuse him of anything, if I did accuse him of something, I would admit to it and modify my post.

I believe the confusion is in what you quoted. You didn't quote the section that you commented on, which makes it seem like you are berating the OP when the issue was for all intents and purposes resolved.

Now if you had quoted the section that you later bolded and said something to the effect of...

"You may want to make sure your address is valid as that can cause your payment to be denied because the registered address is invalid or in another country as the party's billing address for security reasons. If the account is not registered to your legal name you'll need to get that resolved as well by contacting the Billing and Account Services department. "

... that may have been better received. Though I do not see an accusation, just recommendations on what might be. :)

You would want to consult with one of our Billing representatives as to what this issue might be, Cailean.

I'd love to assist, but our access to that type of information is extremely limited.
