Help with raid lockout

Now, I'm not sure you in customer service can do anything about this, but the in game help sure couldn't. They gave me a canned response.

Anyway, my problem is, I was saved to Ulduar 10 (the weekly this week) without downing a boss or getting emblems, or even getting the pop up asking if I wanted to be saved/telling me bosses were down. Now, it may be just me, but I don't think its right that I be saved in this way and be cheated out of my frosts because of some strange in game bug. I was wondering if anyone here at the customer service forum could investigate this "bug" or even better, just remove my lock for Ulduar 10. If anyone looks at my log, I have NOT killed any boss in there this week, nor recieved any emblems from there.

So people are clear, I DID NOT recieve a pop up asking me if I wanted to be saved/telling me bosses were down.

Also, inb4 QQ frosts, nub, whatever mean trolling things people will say. I just want my lock reset because getting saved due to a bug is silly. =(

I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience you've experienced, Natil. Taking a quick look myself, I unfortunately came to the same conclusion. Given all circumstances, this is not a situation where a Raid ID reset would be possible to provide. In the majority of cases, it is not a service our Game Masters are able to provide - the cases where they might be provided are exceedingly rare, and the process is not a simple one.

As others have indicated, addons can work in strange and mysterious ways - especially if they haven't been updated in some time. The most unrelated addon, after time and the accumulation of digital corruption, which can happy with any kind of file, can interfere with the most unusual functions. If there are no updates currently available for your addons, it may still be worth uninstalling them or performing a full Reset UI once in a while to clear out this data. Prior to being able to investigate a bug with our Quality Assurance team, our staff needs to know that no outside sources are a possible contributor to the issue. Addons are a fully optional feature, and by using them, there is a certain degree of accountability to the addon user and addon author to watch for any odd interference related to them.

Do keep in mind, Natil, that it is possible to complete the Raid Weekly on both 10 and 25 man versions of the instance. Best of luck to you in acquiring your tier 10, and thanks for your patience and understanding! <3
