Character Faction Change!

I went to get a character faction change for my character, when this message came up, and denied me the change

"This character's gold exceeds the maximum allowed (based on their level) for a faction change."
Whats the "maximum allowed" for me to be able to change?
I dont understand that rule.

The gold limit for Faction Changes can be found in the Faction Change FAQ.

Level 10 to 30: 300 gold
Level 31 to 50: 1000 gold
Level 51 to 69: 5000 gold
Level 70 to 80: 20000 gold
