Help with Cenarion Circle trade chat please.

Please oh please can someone please come help with Cenarion Circle trade chat on alliance side. Right now, as I type this, several people are using racist and homophobic terms constantly and in every sentence they type. I can't even report these people fast enough without new people doing it as well. This is so offensive, please help.

Holynovadark, I believe you misunderstand the purpose of both these forums and those of us who moderate them.

The Customer Service Forums are a heavily moderated section of the World of Warcraft forums that are meant to be an exchange of information for common problems between players. Those of us that are Customer Service Representatives, or "Blues," are here primarily to moderate topics and offer advice when we are able to.

In many cases, if there have been sufficient, informative replies from other players, we Blues would rather move on to a topic that may not be able to be helped by the average player. As much as I'd personally like to reply to every thread that appears, it's simply not possible.

Likewise, it is simply not possible for our Game Masters to monitor the chat of every realm. The manpower required would be rather ridiculous (assume one GM for each faction, that's 2 per server. We have over 200 servers, that's around 400 representatives. Assume three shifts to cover 24/7, that's 1200 representatives just for this single issue). We are happy to help with such reports, however, but they do need to be directed to the correct outlet.

If you see anyone violating our Terms of Use in-game, please report it to our Game Masters via an in-game petition or e-mail at wowgm@blizzard.com. Please include player names, realms if applicable, and approximate time of violation. All this information is of great use when investigating these issues. Due to privacy concerns, I'm afraid our staff cannot inform you of the actions taken.

Lastly, I wanted to address your final comment.

Would this mean that your opinions as well mean absolutely nothing, Holynovadark? That's a rather broad and close-minded statement to make. Anyone with an account in good standing is able and allowed to post on these forums, and the majority of those who choose to spend their time in this particular forum are quite knowledgeable. I would not be so quick to dismiss your peers as lacking the ability to provide pertinent and correct information.
