Erm I was "testing" the new account recovery form thingy ma jiggy to see what information it asks and how the entire process feels. It is at :

https://us.battle.net/account/support/secure-computer.html

Except I haven't been hacked O_O;;

I'm very sorry to the overworked Blizzard recoveries team. I don't mind the password reset email. Probably should reset that for security sake anyway.

It's just that it said a ticket for recovery of items has been put in. But I don't need to be restored ;_;

I know it's my own silly fault but does anyone here know what I need to do know to delete my ticket out of the system ?

I'm at work so I can't login to game and delete it from there. Do they has email or do I need to ring them ?

Thanks in advance guys <3

PS Yes I know. Probably shouldn't of been playing with something when I haven't even been hacked. Blue space cows need to stop playing around with things *OHHHH SHINEYYYYYY* *runs off in some random direction*

EDIT there was a ticket number in here for the blues now its gone. *giggles* theys can read edits as they knows sewcrets!

Back in the barn with you, Bluspacecow! :P

I am glad to hear that 1: you haven’t been hacked and 2: that the Account Recovery Webform is working as intended. :D

Tickets submitted via the Webform cannot be deleted on the players end as they are not viewable like a ticket submitted in game. With that explanation, I have removed your ticket as requested.

You are now allowed to exit the barn.

Q u o t e:
With that said, could you tell us what you learned? >.>; I was curious to do the same thing, but didn't want to go past the section where it asks for your b.net account and First/Last names.

Q u o t e:
Yes! I'm sooo glad I'm not the only ridiculously curious person. *resists urge to click on new shinies*

Please, guys, don’t let curiosity get the best of you.

This form is intended to assist players who have actually been compromised and need assistance. When the questions asked during the recovery process are answered properly a petition is automatically generated. Once the Game Master receives this service ticket they will review the account for compromise and for possible restoration.

While it may seem like it would only take a few moments for us to determine if the account was compromised or not, it truly doesn’t. And tickets submitted for “what-would-happen-if-I-did-this” sake only makes our queues escalate and takes time away from legitimate player concerns.
