Long story short, I am trying to use a proxy to connect to the game because of ports being locked where I am. I have tried using it 3 times and all 3 times I have had my account locked. Is there anything that can be done to be able to play using a proxy without getting my account locked?

I suspect he's referring to a Battle.net lock, Gwydíon.

That generates an email with further instructions. Not quite the same thing at all as an account getting locked. Appeals are typically needed only with account locks.
