I have to ask how if I report someone's 2v2 team name which is [Removed] and the ticket then gets closed out how they still have this as their team name.

Does wow support/ignore racism these days?

I'm sorry, Mouthofgork, but you seem to be mistaken. Both petitions you submitted are still open and have yet to be addressed. One has been open for 15 hours and 40 minutes and the other one is only about 20 minutes old.

Beyond that, if you reported a name that is quite obviously inappropriate and the petition has been fully addressed and you see no change then it is likely that either the name was already changed based on a report from another player or enough information was not provided for us to find the team in question.

For example, in your petition you give what appears to be the name of a player an the name of the arena team but you do not provide the realm that this team exists on. Now we could assume that the person and team you are reporting is on the same realm as you but when dealing with arena/battleground reports it is usually best to provide a realm as well to ensure that we are able to locate the reported character/team.

If it is racist enough to edit out here, it shouldn't matter about his petition. The CS/GM who reads that ticket should at least take the effort to go to the armory and remove/rename not only the team in the ticket but every team/character/guild with the same name.

Those of us who moderate this forum, Sabrar, do not address in-game issues we do not handle inappropriate name reports. It should also be noted that we are not web designers or database administrators so the information on the armory can not be adjusted by us.

it should also be noted that the Armory should not be used in an effort to research possible naming violations as it does not always reflect the most current information.

If I were to open another ticket about this and only the one singular person, team or guild I specifically opened the ticket about got removed, I'd be pretty upset. Oh wait... that happened.

You reported a guild name on your realm, Sabrar, and it was addressed accordingly.

Ok we'll see what happens. Yes it is the same realm so I dont think it should matter. If you guys disregard the petition due to that technicality then I would feel very discouraged about your procedures.

It wouldn't be disregarded, Mouthofgork, but you need to understand that we receive thousands of reports a day we do what we can to address situations that are reported to us but if the name is not listed correctly we are unable to look for all the possible variations, it is also important to list the realm name regarding team names that may not have originated on your realm.

You could take a moment to edit your elder petition and include the realm name to help avoid confusion.
