Server transfer, Hand of A'dal

Hello customer service,

I'm wondering if a server (not faction) transfer will make my Hand of A'dal questline (no longer available), I have the quests, that's not the problem, the issue is getting them done. The realm this character is on hardly has anyone playing and trying to find a group for these TBC raids is proving impossible. I've made forum posts, I've tried to bribe people, not happening.

So I was considering transferring to a more populated realm to get this done. The problem is the quests I have are unobtainable, they have a different quest ID than the current available ones do, if I transfer servers will I get the new quest ID and lose the chance to get Hand of A'dal?

If you still have the old quest, Meorcsmash, which would allow you to pick up the title I would recommend against faction changing until you complete it though using the transfer service should be fine.

The quest itself should transfer along with your character though you'll lose any progress you made.

Actually, you are correct, Hinomiko. I was confusing losing quest progress with losing the entire quest. Been answering too many Faction Change questions I think. :)

I'll adjust my original response to avoid confusion.
