Am I to believe that I spent a few hundred gold and waited a year to get something that is destroyed upon its first use? I was informed that the cask of peaked dalaran red was unlimited usage because it takes so long to get, I just got it, used it to test it, and now its gone. This is more then slightly dissapointing, is it possible for at LEAST a refund of the cask for my friend's birthday party tomorrow? I bought the keg on her last birthday, planning a year for this!

This is by far the most disappointing item I've ever actually waited to receive in WoW.

seriously id hope blizzard would plan to change at least the tooltip on this to say its a one time use or explain exactly what BS it turns into cuz i dont see under any circumstances how any of us got what we paid for with this junk item. its not even comical and the booze itself is weak in fact itd be cheaper to buy any other type of alchohol to get 25 ppl in ur party all completely smashed and much much faster GG blizz

Really? Nothing? I was hoping this would have an achievement, at least. Spending 250g, then waiting for an entire year, and you just get normal alcohol? Lame.

The idea behind it was to sort of let people play wine aficionado. You buy an expensive bottle, you let it age until it hits its peak, and then you drink it all in one sitting, probably with a group of close friends.

The tooltip may need some sprucing up to ensure people are better aware that this is just a fun one-time-use item.

and like a fine aged wine...

...has the same effect of regular alcohol

Haha, yeah. Exactly. I mean it's sort of a tongue-in-cheek joke, but not one intended to fool people into thinking it was able to be used more than once.

I gotta ask though how did you know it would turn into the peaked version if you hadn't read up on it, and then at that time also learned more about what it did? Doesn't matter I suppose just seems like a weird series of events.

I'm confused now, with everyone arguing over who has a law degree or not, do I like lock the thread... or...
