Missing Sound - Blue Tracker

Heya again.
My wow has no sound:( ive done all the basic basics like cntrl s cntrl m ect made sure it was loud and enabled via sound n voice menu. The 1 thing i have noticed is if i A) install a new patch or B) run blizzard repair the next time i log in i will have sound. However as soon as i exit game and reopen it sound is again gone. While i dont normally play with sound after being soundless for 4-5 months unless i repair prior to playing(long and annoyin) i would like to hear some of the rp and voices at least once:) any ideas?

I would say try posting on our technical support forums.

Knowing they won't open for another 2 hours, I do want to ask, Are you running Windows Vista or Windows 7 by any chance?

If so, try launching the game using the administrator mode.

- Right click your World of Warcraft Icon
- Choose run as administrator

No worries Gokouu. Not to long ago I had a similar issue with the sound going off whenever I would play in windowed mode. My next best guess would be your sound drivers may need to be updated.
