Brewfest 2010 Changes

Update: After speaking with our development team, we have discovered that these changes will not be made for Brewfest 2010. The Pink Elekks on Parade and Catch the Wild Wolpertinger quests are still available.

We apologize for any confusion and hope you enjoy the Brewfest festivities!

Between September 20th and October 5th, Brewfest 2010 will be upon us.

As such, we wanted to take the time to advise our players of the following changes that were made prior to the event beginning:

• Pink Elekks on Parade quest has been removed
  
• Catch the Wild Wolpertinger quest has been removed

We kindly request that our players do not submit any in-game petitions involving the above as this was an intended change to this year’s Brewfest.

Please feel free to submit a ticket involving any other issues that may arise with the event.

We know players may have questions involving the removal of these quests and how this will affect receiving the "Brewmaster" title. We will update the thread when we have additional information.

Quick question since it seems to apply to the topic in general. Were the "Save Brewfest" and the associated lead in quests removed this year?

I am guessing that since you can get to Direbrew from the Dungeon Finder I am guessing this is the case but I just wanted to be sure.

I don't believe that the quest is still available. Previously if you had completed Welcome to Brewfest! and had not yet participated in the Coren Direbrew fight it would be available. It looks like the NPC's that give the quest are not currently standing where they used to be.

Save Brewfest as far as I am aware only served as a breadcrumb quest meant to lead you to that encounter though.

now can you reply to what ALL of us really want you guys to talk about? why are we still drinking out of the same old stein! it has been filled and drained, millions of times, it has been used from the undercity to ICC. we all want NEW STEIN! clean, fresh, less night elf blood and gnome flesh!

As far as I am aware there is no 2010 stein and that is as it is intended to be. The 2009 model is available for those characters who may not have received it last year.
