Attempted Hack!!! Please help blizzard GM

Dear Blizzards Gm

Some in real life called up the Blizzard Service number and somehow managed to get all my info that could help him "reclaim his hacked account"... I have been playing and paying for almost 2 years now...... what should i do someone please help before its too late

That seems to be a fairly lofty claim, Blademastaz, you only received an e-mail with no account information listed in it.

The e-mail is a request for ID verification and advice on how to make sure your account is secure. Which would mean that whatever was being asked the person contacting our Billing staff was unable to verify that they were the registered user. An e-mail was sent to the registered address with instructions on how to recover an account by providing ID verification, that's it.

Lol well that is feinatly not the case here because whoever took the call off the Blizzard team sent the E-mail for it, which means that the guy believed him, he sent it to my E-mail, I just hope he did not send it the the hackers :(((((((


Actually I don't see how that is true. Even if they sent the exact copy of the e-mail to the someone else's e-mail address that person would still need to provide adequate verification that they are the registered user on the account.

Anyone can call us up and claim that the account was theirs but without any further information the only thing we could do was to send that e-mail with the ID verification instructions in it.
