Account locked-please reply again and again :

I just received a message that my account was locked due to suspicious activity. It also said that I would be receiving an email, which I never received. I went through the password reset and am back in. Everything is exactly as it was the last time I was logged in. I am wondering what the activity was.

Idea 1: I spend lots of time on the auction house.

Idea 2: I am in a guild with just myself now.

Idea 3: I play from a home network, a work network, and a cell card depending on where I am when I want to play.

Idea 4: I have two accounts, this one for when I want to play without friends/guildies knowing I am online with Real ID

Could any of these triggered it? I noticed someone else referenced a blizz downloader error when it happened which I had also.

Hi Silencioso,

This can typically indicate that unauthorized access to your account was detected. If no one else, other than yourself, has access to the account I highly recommend you run an extensive virus scan on your computer. Keep in mind that connecting using proxies or tunneling services is not supported and can also lead to this security action.

You are protected, however as Orlyia mentioned in her post, one antivirus program will not catch everything. You may want to scan with other programs as well.

It could be, Silencioso.

If it gives the appearance it may not be you trying to access the account, that could easily be causing this.

You are referring to your Battle.net itself being locked, correct?
