When reporting Body Advertisement....

....what type of information is helpful to include in the Petition?

My reading suggests that including the phrase "Body Advertisement" and the location are important (which makes sense hehe), whereas what the advertisement is for is not.

Is there anything else i can provide to help out?

A couple char names, anything?

Also, what's the story with the ones that float and warp around in the air with /sleep?

They usually start as the pattern on the ground near the Orgrimmar Auction House, all sit and warp into the air as a sitting heart pattern, also in front of the auction house, then /sleep, zooming into the advertisement again, still in front of the AH, then the advertisement pattern warps to closer to Orgrimmar Bank.

When i last used Report a Problem about an instance of this, i got an the "Another Player posing as a Blizzard Employee" in-game mail from CS and suggestions on resolution for it.... just a tad confused, as that didn't seem to be an on-target response....

One last thing - if i notice the advertising bodies have been removed, should i Abandon any ticket regarding them?

Thanks in advance, hopefully it's ok i started a new topic about this - i know there are others, but i did not wish to necro post, and i hadn't seen any mention of the specific floating, warping body advertisement i mentioned.

Time and area are the most important aspects of the report, Zeshilro. You are welcome to include a couple of character names as well, but it's not entirely necessary. What they are advertising really holds no bearing.

It is just one of their many forms of advertisement - they are choosing, instead of whispering people at random, to create a visual commotion. They are attempting to garner a lot attention, but they are using an exploit to do this, so it is vitally important we are made aware of these situations. Thanks for taking the time to report these. =)

While it does lower our queue to remove your petition, I'd actually advise leaving it open in this case. It is possible that the offenders may have logged off, or moved to a new realm to advertise. There will still be evidence for us to search based on the time you placed the petition and the information you provide that can allow us to investigate in the rare case we have not yet intervened. Luckily, we are pretty quick on these things, but in the interest of ultimately closing these guys down, it's better to cover that base and leave your ticket in queue. ;)
