Is BNet ID all that's needed for Cata invite?

So I submitted my battle.net email address to someone who said they'd be able to get me a Cata invite.

I haven't received said invite, nor has anything happened to my account. yet. I mean I trust the person, but is there something else I need to provide or?

That's all they'd need, but I'm not sure who would be telling you that.

Not to my knowledge.

That may happen at some point, but I don't believe it has yet.

Are you sure you weren't phished?

Indeed they do, but not usually from individuals.
