Thanks, auto-lockdownthing, but not hacked!

Due to suspicious activity, my account has been locked. Twice, in the span of 15 minutes.

But why? I am holding my authenticator in my hand, completely alone with no possible explanation as to how the lockdowns could be warranted. I have traveled no long distances. I presumed the first lockdown was a fluke, logged into my main account, did my Brewfest dailies, logged out and hit 'back' to log into my second account, linked to the same battlenet. Lo, I am locked out again. I did not move. The authenticator is still in my hand. Resetting my password again and again is merely a nuisance but I would not like for this to keep happening whenever I attempt to log into my accounts.

Any idea what's going on here?

Did you recently change locations? Have you checked your system, Aurelie? Perhaps you picked up a keylogger or other malicious program and that is what is being detected.

Please also note that an Authenticator only serves as extra layer of protection, it does not make your account immune to compromise.

I am sorry for what inconvenience this may cause our systems are in place to prevent a possible compromise, there may be a few false positives here and there but we hope that the small inconvenience that is sometimes caused prevents a much larger one. :)
