Character Transfers

Server Transfers:

Will all my stuff be transferred along with my character?

Your character will arrive on the destination realm with all the gold, equipment, pets, achievements, and all items in your characters' inventory and the bank. You will also keep all your bank slots. Your Friend List and Ignore List will be cleared upon transfer.

Please note: Any items, gold, mail, or other character progress unexpectedly lost during the transfer will not be restored.

Could somebody please explain this to me? Is it possible for items to randomly disappear out of your characters inventory/bank when you server transfer or race change?

As the others have mentioned, Seducerer, that statement is basically a "what if" clause. Whenever you deal with data, which is essentially what a character consists of, information can be lost of corrupted when you are moving it around.

Truthfully though, Seducerer, I've never seen an issue where an item, gold, experience, etc.. was lost.
