Since it appears to be ok to 'sell' things such as achievements and such for gold as ppl openly advertise them on forums and such, my question is: How far does that go? Basically, can I advertise that I'd be willing to sell 60 day game cards for x,000g? There's no need for account sharing as obv I'd just give them the code over vent or in game etc. and they put in the number themselves so beyond that... Is there a problem doing this?

I don't buy gold, never would, but as I'm in law school now, I dont have the time to grind it like I used to either :P Fortunately I'm blessed with IRL gold, so I see this as a way to swap services with those who are short IRL gold, but have plenty of game time to grind :D

While I'm sure there's plenty of ways to make this below board let me be clear:

I'd like to post on my realm forums and perhaps in trade "Selling Game time cards for (some amount I havent decided yet) pst for info" and if I get a buyer, either meet them on vent or in a group in game. At that point, I'll take the gold, give them the code off the back of a time card, and call it a day.

Exchange of World of Warcraft Currency/Goods/Services for non-World of Warcraft Currency/Goods/Services, and Vice-Versa (Buying/Selling Gold, Items, Characters, and/or Accounts)

Anyone offering World of Warcraft content for sale is attempting to steal from and deceive you, as no one is EVER allowed to sell any aspect of the World of Warcraft MMORPG except Blizzard and its licensees. Blizzard will not recognize the transaction resulting from the seller's prohibited behavior! Attempting to circumvent this rule by selling "the time put into the character" DOES NOT make such a sale legitimate, as the transaction still results in the transfer of World of Warcraft virtual property (which is acknowledged by every player as solely belonging to Blizzard Entertainment and/or its licensors) and in the seller receiving money.
