Couple of Faction Change questions

I've used the Faction Change service a couple of times in the past, but there are a couple of subtleties I never looked into - the FAQ doesn't seem to clarify these too much either.

1) Will the upgraded Argent Squire/Gruntling be downgraded to just a normal one? I know the Tournament Achievements will be reset upon faction changing, but will the Argent Pony Bridle be lost?

2) If a character pending a Faction Change is in a guild, will they be dropped from the guild immediately upon purchasing (but not using) the service?

Technically, you shouldn't have access to a character after you've initiated a service like this.

Also, guilds aren't cross faction - you can't be guilded with the other side.
