Do You Guys Even Really Help?

Im only asking because ive been posting in the tech support for the past 24hrs straight and oh I don't know maybe one helpful reply would be nice im not posting the tech issue here because the more hours that go by im begining to believe that it doesn't matter what i do... im a new player with the burning crussade i want to get the lich king and pre order cataclysm this weekend but is it really worth it just to end up with days like this in the future.... could you at least assist me in telling me how many days of posting and emailing i need to do before i get a response? Thank you, whats hilarious is id bet my car that this post gets a response before any other ive done in the past 24 hrs

The situation you are currently experiencing can be frustrating to a new player, Battleclan.

Since you have only been playing the game for a few months now you have yet to experience a large patch, or pre-patch in this case, and the issues that can arise. Several players will have issues with patching or installing, some will even receive error messages. It varies from player to player. I can assure you patches of this magnitude are generally few and far between. From time to time we will have a large content patch, but more often than not, it will be some minor implementations into the game.

I am sorry to hear that you have not received an answer. Keep in mind not each post will be answered. Oftentimes, you may find the issue you are experiencing answered in a sticky post on the front page of the Forum itself. With that said, I can see what I can do to at least point you in the right direction concerning your issue. What seems to be the trouble?

If the patch stops at 70% it could be an anti-virus program blocking the update or it could be a permissions issue. If you are on Vista or Windows 7 try right-clicking the World of Warcraft icon on the desktop and select “Run as Administrator”.
