WoW account hacked :( What now?

Apparently my WoW account has been hacked. My buddy sent me a text message yesterday that said someone was online with my toon all night long and never responded to any messages. It was definately NOT me as I haven't logged on in about 4 days. I've been working to many long shifts lately lol.

What is weird is 3 days ago I tried to log into the forums to post and it said my account was frozen due to suspicious activity. All I had to do to un freeze it was reset my pass word. Well I reset my pass word and everything was good to go.

Flash forward to today and it seems it's straight up been hacked. It kind of sucks but honestly I'm not even that worried about it. Even if Blizz can't replace all my gear it's not worth getting upset over. It's just a game plus the new expansion is due out anytime which would render my gear obsolete anyway.

My main thing is I really don't know how to get the ball rolling on getting stuff restored. I'm afraid to follow any emails I recieved cuz I got no clue if it's actually Blizzard or the people who hacked my account.

I just reset my pass word again and logged in. Honestly I'm kind of perplexed at what is missing. They only took about 1k gold total and actually left about 1k gold on my toons. They deleted or got rid of some of my heirloom items but not all.

Can a GM help me with what to do?
