Characters Deleted - what to do?

Server's are down, can't sleep and at a friends urging (against my own better judgement ) I would like some advice on what i should do.

I was out of my household for medical reasons for a couple of weeks. My partner who's not a computer / games person) was charged with alloing our teenage child access to WoW. When i came home and was able to get on the game i discovered that all but one of MY characters on my account had been deleted.

Gone to me are my:

- 73 Druid that i first started raiding with in Vanilla, who tanked my guild (back then's) First Jin'do kill, had exalted Zandalar and halfway through revered Hydraxian rep.
- 75 Rogue who i pvpto Knight Lieutenant on
- 80 Prot Warrior who i had led Vanilla Ony raids and MT'd with, who had a Vintage Quel in his bank, both trinkets from the head turn in tons of (to me) irreplacable stuff i collected over the years.
- 80 Shaman One of the toons i had raided with in Wrath.
- 73 Warlock who i raided in BC on, whom had Champion of the Naruu and a bunch of other stuff.
- 80 Paladin Another of my Wrath heavily played toons that had a RAF Zhevra.
- 71 Hunter who had exalted Netherwing
- 80 DK who i started my Wrath raiding on
- 70 Priest

Requenting help is however complicated because over the years i have had issues with people in my household deleting my characters previously. In fact, not even 6 weeks ago i had to have several of the characters mentioned restored. This latest incident has left me at the point where i either physically lock my Authenticator away when i am not on my computer or it never leaves my person.

This is a big blow to me. I have preordered Cata and recently paid to move the above mentioned 80's to a different realm and faction that was friendlier to my timezone. I am loathe to ask for help from Blizzard with restoring my characters due to previous incidents but i honestly don't know if i have the heart to go through everything i have in the game to get characters to where my deleted ones were.

I can understand if i am turned down, i just have no clue what to do.

Hey everyone –

This thread isn’t about the OP’s parenting styles. He has come here requesting advice about the likelihood of his characters being restored after they were deleted. I kindly request everyone to stick to the topic at hand.

Thanks.

With that said, to address Zurgrak’s concern – the Game Masters will gladly look into the possibility of restoring the characters again for you. To get the ball rolling, you would need to either submit a ticket in game when the realms are available or email the details to [email protected].

Restorations are provided on a limited basis, however, and there is no guarantee the characters will be restored.

As for allowing your child to access the account, you are more than welcome to do so provided they are under the age of 18. When allowing a child to play on the account you assume responsibility for happenings in game, such as in-game violations, character deletions, etc. Since you have an authenticator it may not be a bad idea to keep the authenticator with you at all times, and consider creating a second account for your child to play on.

Good luck!

The OP has the answer he needs to pursue this matter further.

As this topic is proceeding WAY off course, it is high time to lock this thread. :/
