Id be interested in hearing a response to the people who grind out the reputation with these factions to assist in getting mount quantity related achievements.
ARE there these typse of achievements in Cata? and if so, how can you justify gimping one faction by a factor of at least 6? (assuming 3 non epic / 3 epic color variations, if not more)
Sure, there are "plenty" of mounts out there, but some of said mounts are quite difficult (if not impossible if youre not in a high end raiding guild) to get in comparison.
and if I may, a couple simple solutions that would take minimal effort from Blizzard to impliment.
A) add new color variations to existing alliance factions to equalize the number available.
B) Make running wild obtainable by everyone via an item which changes players to the "mounted" form of a worgen.
C) Add in some mundane horses under whatever rep the worgens represent,, keep "Running Wild" for the true worgen players but at least allow the rest of us to get our new mounts too. This one in particular would be easy to do, AND make sense lore wise, as the worgen WERE human and DID use horses as the humans would. This way you could simply add a few more breeds/colors and call it good.
I really hope to see some kind of response as I think ive been as constructive as I possibly couild.
