Trial upgrade problem

my trial account expired last week so today i went to the store and picked the box copy of WoW and my battle.net account says its active with the free 1 month. but when i go to login on the game it says "trial account expired go to worldofwarcraft.com/account to upgrade" and i cant login any help?
