This seemed most approrpriate to ask here. On the PTR I'm running into lots of foreign people that no speaky ze ingles.

Do macros translate? If I /oom at the tank, does he see it in his language?

If you are asking if the game auto translates player inputted text - not to my knowledge, no.

What an excellent question, I had to have this tested a bit to actually know :)

Never been asked this before.

I'm told that the 'canned' emotes will be legible in the native language of the client receiving it - so yeah, that one they should be able to read if that is correct.
