Bannable? Perhaps not, depending on the history of your account but can it be considered a violation of our Terms of Use? Absolutely.
It is called a scam and something that we will be happy to look into and take any and all appropriate actions on. Well, perhaps not happy by the fact that someone would take advantage of another in our game really does not make us happy but we will gleefully take appropriate actions for the violations that we find. :)

Making money in an honest transaction off of someone who may not know the true value of something is fine, Kaneka, if you are offering someone a chance to acquire an item and that offer is false, that is a scam.

Because the words "Gay", "Show" and "Tunes" aren't the issue. An the letters A S and S are used in a great many words so filtering that by itself would impact normal conversation. There are many words that can be used in Television or a Movie, it doesn't make it appropriate for this game.
