Bnet e-mail used to send phishing mails

I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to put this, but since it involves my account e-mail I figured this was the best shot.

I discovered today that my Battlenet e-mail address had been compromised when the e-mail address that it forwards to suddenly received around 100 returned e-mails, all of them a phishing e-mail involving WoW. My WoW account itself is secure, as my e-mail address and my WoW password are not the same, and I have an authenticator. I have gotten control of the e-mail address again, and I've run scans and have found no viruses or spyware. I've never visited any gold selling services and I always delete any remotely fishy e-mail that appears to be phishing attempts.

I'm basically wondering what I need to do to ensure that my account doesn't get suspended because my e-mail address was compromised and used to spam phishing attempts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you were spamming those messages in-game, Arryk, it is unlikely that your World of Warcraft account would be affected. Make sure your system it secure and especially your e-mail. You may want to contact your provider and let them know that someone may have been using it to send out spam.

Good luck.
