Unable to upgrade to TBC

When I try to enter in my authentication key to upgrade my account to The Burning Crusade, I get the following, very informative error message:

The following problems have occurred:
An error has occurred.

Thanks for that.

I've checked the key several times and there are no typos. Is there any way to at least find out what's going wrong?

As stated above, Elishi, this may take up to 72 hours from the time that you initiated the upgrade.
