Battle.net email change question

A friend who is no longer playing the game got a strange message in her gmail this morning.

Q u o t e:
Hello tiago,

Blizzard Entertainment has recently received a request to change the email address used to log in to your Battle.net Account. The email address [her email address] was specified as the new username for your Battle.net Account. In order to finalize and authorize the email address change, please click the Confirmation Link below. The update will NOT be completed unless you click that link.

She looked at the headers and it looks like it came from battle.net. Needless to say, her account name wasn't tiago.

Return-Path: <noreply@battle.net>

She's worried someone is trying to hack her gmail account, since her account isn't mentioned anywhere in this. She hasn't followed the confirmation link, nor clicked on anything in the email.

Is there anything in this that she needs to be concerned about? Does it have anything to do with the automated recovery system?

I will be editing to remove her email addy so that the GMs can see it.

Greetings Ruana,

My best guess is that someone may have mistyped the e-mail address when they were trying to update a battle.net e-mail. I see no accounts associated with the e-mail you posted. If it was a mistyped e-mail this would be a one time thing. Have your friend forward the e-mail to hacks@blizzard.com. If she keeps getting these messages, let us know.
