Accessing the Outland

As stated, Tekelili, you'll need to step through the Dark Portal to get to the Outland. That or you'll need to find a Warlock to summon you or a Mage to summon a portal for you, either will work.

If you follow Mourninglory's advice though you should make it out there easily enough, especially now that there are portals to the Blasted Lands in major cities.

As Hathios indicated the Alchemy master is out in the Outland because that skill bracket became available with the Burning Crusade expansion.

I believe the complain is that the continent is called Outland (formerly Draenor), but collectively, it's called "the Outlands".

That is a common misconception on the name of the area though. There is a wowwiki page that even makes mention of this fact.

Understandable though, I initially called it the Outlands and the Hinterlands used to be the Hinterland, in my mind. :)
